Are you an Indigenous youth, aged 12 - 24? Are you interested in helping to create a film as part of the youth component of the 10th Annual Connect Event? Are you free on July 2 at 6 pm?
The Connect Event takes place annually and brings together non-Indigenous and Indigenous folks to support healing, well-being, and reconciliation. The youth on the planning committee are asking other youth to be part of creating a film - telling the story of an Indigenous young person's journey that will be premiered at the Connect Event on October 18th. After this kick off event with the planning committee, youth will participate in leadership and self-development workshops, as well as acting and filming workshops to prepare them to create the film.
Come and meet us in a fun gathering with food on July 2 at 6 pm. This is a kick off event to plan our activities. If you need support getting to the gathering, let us know. Please meet near the medicine wheel, in this parking lot: Nose Hill Park 14th street parking lot
